“The Box” as it is known is something of a magical wonder that will remove all the issues in the whole world but seriously there is a lot of kit in there that will make life much easier and safer for the trip.

We wanted to be out of here by Friday but because of the “The Box” delay and the tiny issue of a “Mini Mistral” coming through at the weekend our departure will be pushed until at least the beginning of next week but as we wait we also start looking at what we can eat for the trip and to be honest we have found some amazing stuff that can be allowed to simmer in a pan of water which can be sea water so free for us and the selection appears to be really good. We will be looking at this sort of thing properly tomorrow as well as of course other things.

We have also been suffering with food to eat for lunch and dinner whilst we are working on the boat because with this Covid19 a lot on places are actually closed as well as we are in the rough end of town without the normal French cuisine – would you believe we seem to be living on bloody Burger King at the moment as it is just around the corner from where we are staying.
